Every step forward

Is a step forward.

Hello, and welcome! I’m glad your journey has led you to my website.

I’m Amber Stewart, a Licensed Professional Counselor out of Western PA. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma. I want to help you go from just tolerating the symptoms of your anxiety, depression, or trauma to living fully in the present. You deserve to live the life you envision for yourself, and I want to help you do that by exploring the areas you’re struggling with, teaching you ways to cope, and reducing the impact that these symptoms have on your life by addressing them at their core.

With depression, anxiety, and trauma, life can feel more like surviving than living. But, you don’t have to endure your symptoms without hope. Things can change. Even by looking at my website, you’re already taking steps forward to heal. That is progress! Feel free to take a look around. There’s a lot of information here about myself, my approaches to therapy, some of my professional philosophies, and more. There is also more information about trauma, ways trauma shows up in the present, and types of trauma therapy.

But nothing can replace 1-1 counseling, and when you’re ready to take that next step, I would love to help you continue on your journey of learning, experiencing, and healing, using my training, experiences, and education to help you along.

You can start here to see if you are a good fit for my practice.
